The Inter-Ministerial Comission for the Frigate
"D.Fernando II e Glória" Restoration Project
(Answering to the Prime-Minister, as President of the National Commission for the
Commemoration of the Portuguese Discoveries, and the Defense Minister)
Set up in the Protocol for the restoration of the ship, signed on October 2 1990 by the National Commission for the Commemoration of the Portuguese Discoveries and by the Portuguese Navy.
The Inter-Ministerial Commission, created by the Protocol to monitor the Project, is chaired by Admiral António Manuel da Cunha Esteves Andrade e Silva and has an equal number of members from the National Commission and from the Portuguese Navy.
